York, NY (June 2001): Katz & Associates,
one of the nation's most rapidly growing national
retail real estate firms, announces the opening
of three new Westchester County, New York locations
for longtime client Linens -N- Things, according
to Daniel B. Katz, President and CEO.
"We're
thrilled to continue to work with Linens -N- Things
as they expand throughout the country. To support
this endeavor, they will open three new stores
this year alone in Westchester County, NY, with
60 new openings planned for 2001," notes Daniel
B. Katz.
Linens -N- Things,
a Katz & Associates' client since Katz' inception
in 1996, currently operates 295 stores throughout
the United States and Canada. The newest Westchester
County location is Cortlandt Town Center, located
on Route 6 in Cortlandt Manor, NY, which will open
October 1, 2001. The 53,000 square foot location
was a former HomePlace. The 600,000 square foot Town
Center also houses such major retailers as Home Depot,
WalMart, Marshall's, Barnes & Noble, A&P,
Old Navy and Office Max.
In addition, Katz & Associates
executed a second lease for Linens -N- Things to
open on June 8, 2001 at the Portchester Shopping
Center located at I-95, Route 1 and I-287 in Portchester,
NY. Encompassing 39,570 square feet, the location
is a former Pergament Home Center with Kohl's, Waldbaums,
Staples, Party City, and K·B Toys as co-tenants.
Katz' first Linens
opening in Westchester was held on April 1, 2001
and is a free standing 44,000 square foot location
in New Rochelle, adjacent to Costco and Home Depot.
This highly visible site is situated off of exit
15 from I-95.
