River, NY, April 28, 2000: Katz & Associates,
a rapidly growing national retail real estate
firm, announces the addition of two new clients
to its roster along with the successful completion
of negotiations for a national chain's flagship
store, according to Daniel B. Katz, President.
Katz will exclusively handle
real estate transactions for Crunch, the New
York-based gym, as it expands its presence
in California. Crunch gyms range in size from
25,000 to 40,000 square feet and have approximately
4,000 square feet devoted to retail and juice
bar areas. This assignment is being handled
by John Beaney, Senior Vice President, Western
Region, Katz & Associates.
In addition, Katz has announced
a new relationship with Jewels and More, Inc.
The Texas-based jewelry company will be opening
six to eight kiosks per year in regional shopping
malls in the Southwest and Southeast and hopes
to expand up the Eastern seaboard. This account
is being managed by Farron Roboff, Senior Vice
President, Northeastern Region, Katz & Associates.
Katz has completed a transaction
to locate H2O+ in a 1,600 square foot location
at 460 West Broadway, New York. Located in
the heart of Soho, this deal was handled for
Katz & Associates by Sandi Danick, Director
of Real Estate, New York Region. H2O+ is an
international retailer and manufacturer of
skin care, spa, fragrance, bath and color products.
This store, in a newly designed format, will
be H2O+'s New York Flagship location.
