Pearl River, NY (October, 2006): Katz & Associates is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Olsen as Director of Real Estate, Midwest Region, effective September 29, 2006. Mike is based out of our new Cleveland, Ohio office and will assist our clients in the Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio markets.

Mike joins the Katz & Associates team with over ten years of real estate experience. Prior to joining Katz & Associates, Mike was Director of Leasing with Zaremba Group in Cleveland, Ohio. Mike was responsible for analyzing markets and leasing new developments including two new shopping centers in Chicago, IL and Richmond, VA consisting of over 1.3 million square feet. Prior to Zaremba Group, Mike was a Regional Leasing Manager with Developers Diversified Realty in Beachwood, Ohio where he was responsible for leasing numerous power and community shopping centers throughout the midwest. Before joining Developers Diversified Realty, Mike started his real estate career as a Leasing Representative with the Richard E. Jacobs Group in Westlake, Ohio. His responsibilities there included leasing regional shopping malls in Charleston, SC; Louisville, KY and Beaumont, TX.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and History from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is also an active member of the ICSC and has served on its various committees.
