York, NY (May 2001): Marlon Stone, 31,
has joined the growing retail real estate firm
of Katz & Associates Corp. in their Chicago
office as Director of Real Estate. This announcement
was made by Daniel Mitchell, Senior Vice President,
Midwest Region, Katz & Associates.

is known for," notes Mitchell.
Previously, Stone
held the position of Director of Community Center
Leasing for Horizon Group Properties, Chicago,
since 1999. He was responsible for "in-line" leasing
and peripheral land sales. He negotiated 165,000
square feet of lease transactions for such retailers
as Pier 1 Imports, Gap, Limited, Vanity Fair and
Wendy's. Prior to that, Stone was Senior Leasing
Representative for Litvin/Larue/Greenfield, Inc.
in Chicago. Stone began his real estate career
as a Leasing Representative with Lormax Stern Development
Company in Farmington Hills, Michigan in 1992.
He also held the position of Senior Leasing Representative
for Ludwig and Karas, Inc., also in Farmington
Hills.
Stone holds a
Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of
Michigan and has attended the ICSC School for Professional
Development. He is a licensed real estate broker
in the State of Illinois and a licensed real estate
salesperson in the State of Michigan.
