Pearl River, NY (July, 2006): Katz & Associates Corporation, the exclusive broker for Loehmann’s, is pleased to announce that the retailer has executed a lease for a new 37,000 square foot flagship store located at 2101 Broadway at West 73rd. The company signed a sublease for a two-story space currently occupied by Gristedes Supermarket.

Brian Katz, Senior Vice President of the Northeast Region for Katz & Associates represented Loehmann’s in this transaction. Katz commented to Crain’s that “it’s so hard to come by big-box space, we’re reviewing anything that comes available.”

Loehmann’s is looking for more retail locations in Manhattan – exploring possible venues in Soho, Midtown, the Upper East Side and elsewhere. Additional locations in other boroughs are also likely.
