Katz is the new exclusive real estate agency for Galyan's Trading Company. Galyan's sporting goods/active lifestyle stores feature a broad variety of sporting equipment, clothing, and footwear, with an interactive retail environment allowing shoppers the opportunity to try out equipment prior to purchasing. The store also features a 43-foot, two-story climbing wall. Under Katz' direction, Galyan's plans to open seven or eight super lifestyle stores nationally per year with each site to be in the 80,000 to 100,000 square foot range. Area assignments are being handled by Howard Grossman, Senior Vice President, New England Region, and Kurt Schneider, Senior Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Region, Katz & Associates.
