Scott Sher serves as Director of Real Estate, Northeast Region for Katz & Associates. Scott’s expertise lies in helping retailers with their strategic planning, site selection and lease negotiations such retailers include Save-A-Lot, Retro Fitness, Namco/Branch Brook, Avenue, AutoZone and Vitamin Shoppe in the Northeast. Scott is currently the lead broker on the Save-A-Lot account for their expansion into Central-Northern, NJ. Mr. Sher also assists our clients by identifying retail sites, land acquisitions and leasing shopping centers in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia markets. Scott was named by the Co-Star Group as one of its Top Retail Leasing Brokers in 2009.

Mr. Sher has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 2003. Prior to joining the Katz & Associates team in 2007, Mr. Sher was the Director of Leasing with Anderson Realty Services, where he was responsible for analyzing markets and leasing new developments and regional shopping centers throughout NY and NJ. Prior to Anderson Realty Services, Scott started his real estate career as a leasing associate at Studley in Manhattan where his focus was on market analysis and new business development. Before joining Studley, Scott was with Qwest Communications where he was a major Account Executive. While at Qwest he sold one of the companies’ largest deals to date of over $150 million and was the top sales person in the Pacific Region in 2002.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona.  He is an active member of ICSC.
