John J. Meyerdierks serves as the Senior Vice President for the Western Region at Katz & Associates. Mr. Meyerdierks manages multiple phases of client assignments, including site selection, market analysis and lease negotiation.

With a strong retail background and extensive experience on national and regional projects, Mr. Meyerdierks offers senior level insight and advice to Katz & Associates’ clients. He was instrumental in Katz & Associates’ projects such as the closing of all Thom McAn and Woolworth stores in the Western Region. He also served as an advisor to the Steadfast Companies in their purchasing and remerchandising of two malls in the Seattle area.

Before joining the Katz & Associates’ team, Mr. Meyerdierks served as a Vice President for Melville Realty, taking responsibility for real estate functions for the mall division. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Meyerdierks was a Real Estate Manager for Melville and earlier in his career, served as a District Sales Manager for Thom McAn. In his several assignments at Melville, he developed notable professional skills in merchandising and managing retail store operations.

Mr. Meyerdierks earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Economics from Monmouth College. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
